On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct a Rozgar Mela, wherein he will distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to individuals who have been recently recruited in various government departments. The distribution of appointment letters will take place via video conferencing, allowing the Prime Minister to remotely interact with the recruits. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am and aims to provide employment opportunities to the newly inducted personnel in government jobs.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has organized a widespread Rozgar Mela, which is set to take place simultaneously at 44 locations across the nation. This grand event aims to provide employment opportunities to thousands of individuals through the distribution of over 70,000 appointment letters. The recruitments will be carried out in collaboration with various central government departments as well as state governments and union territories supporting this commendable initiative.
Selected candidates from diverse regions across India will be joining various Ministries and Departments, such as the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, and Department of Posts, among others. Upon receiving their appointment letters, the newly recruited individuals will undergo training through the Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module accessible on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This platform offers over 580 e-learning courses in a flexible “anywhere any device” learning format. The Karmayogi Prarambh aims to equip the new workforce with essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their respective roles within the government departments.
By providing a comprehensive training program, the government seeks to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the recruits, ensuring they contribute significantly to the nation’s development and progress.
