WhistleDrive scores Rs 72 crore in series B


Planning to enter the two more cities other than the three in which it operates presently, WhistleDrive, which is an employee transportation company has now secured INR 72 crore in the funding round of Series B from the Colosseum Group, according to the report revealed.
Rakesh Munnanooru, founder and chief executive officer (CEO), WhistleDrive, said that the company currently operates a 700-plus fleet across Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru. “We are looking to enter Pune by coming January and February. With the series-B funding we just got, we are looking at scaling vertically, and plan to enter the National Capital Region (NCR),” he added.
WhistleDrive was started in 2016 by the Rakesh Munnanooru. The B2B platform offers the technology-enabled fleet services for the corporates and is also presently looking to enter two more cities other than the three in which it operates presently.
Whistle Tech, developed by the company allows the corporates to automate the entire transportation process while even resulting in cost savings and also an improvement with the comfortable, reliable and secure ride to work, according to the report.
