Modi Government May Give Rs. 2.5 Lakh Crore Relief Package To Industries

The central government may soon announce another relief package of Rs 2.5 lakh crore for the industrial sector. In the relief package, along with the concession in GST, interest free loans to small traders are being considered. There will be an emphasis on industries which provide employment on a large scale. According to information received through the sources, in this package that comes before the end of the lockdown, the government can declare benefits like tax exemption and low interest loans to manufacturing, aviation and MSME sectors. The government wants to ensure that the employment crisis does not arise in any way.

Appeal to give conditional interest free loan

There has also been an appeal to increase coordination between the state and the Centre so that the rules and regulations proposed can work effectively. In view of the income tax returns, an appeal has been made to give conditional interest-free loans to the industry that have a turnover up to Rs 500 crore. The condition for taking advantage of this scheme is that the businessmen will not be able to remove their employees for one year.
