The Hindujas, Dragged into Hot Water Once Again.

Hinduja. A surname that is synonymous with wealth. Just like the Dalmias, Ambanis, Adanis. The same grotesquely rich people like the Hinduja inspired the long-suffering common man to lead what is now known as the French Revolution. How exactly is it possible for one section of society to be so unsure of where they will get their next bread from and then the other part is unsure of what act of debauchery should it commit to make a dent in their accounts.

Of course something does not sit well with the underprivileged section of society, which then further empowers men like Karl Marx to write about the history of such people to an extent that it generates an entirely new ideology, which we now know as Communism and the people who support it as left wingers.

THE MAN WHO STARTED THE LEFT WING

It is now ironic that the man who argued for the emancipation of the, who is now dead and buried for more than a century, that his grave is now a tourist attraction for 6 pounds in London’s’ Highgate Cemetery( the Indian equivalent of 6 pounds is 635 rupees, which would have been nothing short of a princely sum some decades back in India and today, there is no difference between a 5 rupee note and a 500 rupee note, both get spent in the blink of an eye).

The Ambanis and the Adanis are very equanimous in one respect, they do not differentiate between 1 rupees, 100 rupees, 1000 rupees, 10000 rupees, 100000 rupees, 1000000 rupees and the zeros shall keep on increasing, but not a drop of sweat occurs on their brows.

Most comfortably, middle-class, upper-middle-class people would shell out quite a lot of insurance premiums, and fixed deposits for that big fat Indian wedding and then make sure that not a penny was spent extra. Not to Ambani, his son’s pre wedding cost was well over 1000 crore rupees, that is such along figure that you would feel mathematically and orally challenged if you tried to write it and pronounce it afterwards.

At the very beginning of the article, it was stated that the Hindujas are a name synonymous with wealth. The financial and property portfolios of Hinduja would certainly give the world’s richest men, like Bernard Arnault, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos, a stiff run for their money. But yet they have been dragged into the legal cauldron and then may be swiftly buried as well, as is expected in the Indian judicial system, it does not side on the common man but instead for the aristocratic man.

THE HINDUJA FMAILY, THE LATEST BILLIONAIRE SCANDAL

A QUICK SUMMARY OF WHAT HAPPENED.

The Hinduja family, which has a diverse portfolio of trucks, lubricants, banking, etc., was worth 20 billion dollars on a last check. So even if the Hinduja were to employ an army of servants to serve such a sprawling empire, they surely would not double-check their bank balances, a dream for most of us and a reality for them.

A Swiss prosecutor has unearthed almost Nazi levels of cruelty when he recently revealed that a Hinduja staff member earned as little as 7 Swiss francs per hour(660 rupees), which is much lower than the hourly minimum working wage of 32 francs per hour. As if the fact that this was being paid regularly to the same staff member for 18-hour workdays, 7 days a week, an incriminating budget document reveals that they spent 8,584 Swiss francs( 8.1 lakh rupees) on their dog annually, which is the most barbaric of them all.

They often say that the rich people do not differentiate between the poor and animals. They have unfortunately been proved right, even animals are treated much better than the poor. It relays back the message of George Orwell’s Animal Farm, Some Animals Are More Equal Than Other Animals.
