Ramdev held Press Conference: Ayurvedic drugs for COVID-19 will now be available as a ‘COVID management’ drug.

On Wednesday, at the press conference, Swami Ramdev said that the combo of medicines – Coronil and Swasari will be available in the market from today throughout the country. It is a great relief to coronavirus patients across the country. He further stated that Ayush Ministry has used the term ‘COVID management’ for our drugs and not coronavirus treatment.

Highlights of Swami Ramdev press conference:

• Yoga guru Baba Ramdev lashed out at his opponent today on the controversy of Coronil drug. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev stated that some people had propagated against me about Coronil and created a tornado. 
• He also said that some people are trying to destroy his image. 
• In the past, Patanjali launched a corona drug “Coronil” and claimed that it is beneficial for coronavirus patients and they had been cured in the trial.
• Ramdev said Ayush Ministry has admitted that the step taken by Patanjali is in the right direction.

Baba Ramdev held a press conference with Acharya Balakrishna in Haridwar today.

•  In the press conference, Baba Ramdev said that he has followed the rules from the clinical trial to the registration process, and he also criticized his critics. He also said, ‘Coronil medicine has made by following all regulations of law. 
• Evidence for the research has been submitted to the AYUSH Department. The AYUSH Department praised our efforts. 
• We have followed all the protocols. These rules were not introduced by Swami Ramdev or Patanjali, but by modern medical science.
• There is no longer any controversy over the Coronil drug. 
•  Coronal medicines will be sold throughout the country. We have now the authority and license to sell Coronil drugs.

 FIR against me filed like against a traitor and a terrorist

• He also said that if creating a disease-free society is a crime, so I will commit this crime over and over again. 
• People are also trying to create a dirty environment and image for my caste and religion. 
• FIRs were registered against me across the country like an FIR is filed against a traitor and a terrorist.

Ayurvedic work in India seems to be a crime

• Baba Ramdev further told: People say Patanjali cheated us and taken a U-turn. Opponents also stated that Patanjali did not do any research.
•  Some people tried to create a messy environment for my caste and religion in different ways. 
• Ramdev said doing Ayurvedic work in India seems to be a crime. We have gained fame from yoga Ayurveda, and some people get envious of us.
• Recently, clinical trials have been conducted on corona’s drug. Similarly, we have passed 3 level trials of more than 10 diseases. 
• Within 7 days, 100% of corona patients were cured.
• We have a team of 500 scientists.
•  The result of the corona test is that a storm came. He stated that tie wearers are not ready to believe that how can the nappy wearer do this? Based on their research parameters, we have taken this work forward and will move forward. 
• We have an Ayurveda drug license and some people are creating chaos on what you have got the license and what the drugs are made. 
• For registration, we followed the process of registration, and for research; we followed the process of research. 
• The blood pressure problems of millions can be cured by yoga in such a way that there is no need to take medicines, Baba Ramdev said.

Swami Ramdev also revealed whether Coronil is a cure for COVID-19 or not.

• Swami Ramdev announced that Coronil is also an immunity booster to combat symptoms like a cough, cold and protect the lungs from these viral symptoms. He said that Coronil is an immunity booster based on traditional Ayurvedic rules.
• Ramdev appended, “Traditional Ayurveda techniques say that every time after you achieve great research, the traditional cure is called medicine.”
• Sassari, Tulsi, Ashwagandha, and Giloy are beneficial against cold and flu-related respiratory problems.

On June 23, Baba Ramdev announced the Coronil and Swasari drugs for corona treatment. He claimed that corona patients can recover within a week. This statement by Baba Ramdev caused controversy. Even the central government and some state governments rejected Baba Ramdev’s claim. Since then, Patanjali head Balkrishan said that it is not the medicine of corona but an immunity booster.
