RentoMojo secured INR 6 crore from Infosys co-founder
RentoMojo has secured INR 6 crore debt from the Information technology firm, Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, according to the report which has been revealed. Gopalakrishnan invested the money with the help of a Pratithi Investment Trust.
Gopalakrishnan, who even leads the early stage investment firm Axilor Ventures along with the Infosys co-founder SD Shibulal, that has been an active angel investor over the past couple of years. He has invested in companies which include the CureFit, FirstCry, Ampere Vehicles, and Crayon Data.
RentoMojo, which is owned and operated by the Bangalore based Edunetwork Pvt Ltd was founded in the month of November 2014 by the IIT-madras graduates Ajay Navin and Geetannsh Bamania.
The startup offers users to rent home furnishings, motorbikes, appliances, and furniture. The company also has a plan to introduce some of the newer categories in the coming months.
