People are also urged to cough into a bent elbow or tissues and throw them in a closed bin. It is also requested that residents avoid crowded areas and poorly ventilated environments as much as possible. Ventilation is critical in keeping the virus that causes Covid-19 from spreading.
Recirculated air from split air conditioning units, fans, or any system that operates in a recirculation mode should be avoided except in a single occupancy room with no other people present. It is also advised that folks refrain from spitting in public.
Adar Poonawalla said on April 12 that the business had begun production of the COVID-19 vaccine Covishield due to an increase in the number of instances of viral infection. Previously, the business ceased Covishield production in December 2021.
