The new recruits received the appointment letter from the Prime Minister through a video conference and by doing so, the government is showing its commitment to provide youths government jobs.

During the event, the Prime Minister emphasised that the endeavour to give youths job opportunities will continue and will aid in nation-building while mentioning that the Mela was hosted in Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, the Andaman Islands, UP, and Maharashtra.

The Rozgar Mela is expected to serve as a catalyst for increasing employment generation and giving the younger generation worthwhile opportunities for empowerment and direct involvement in advancement of the country.

According to PM Modi, initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ are fostering employment and chances for self-employment throughout the country.

Meanwhile, the Production Link Initiative (PLI) programme was also emphasized by Prime Minister Modi as a potential source of new employment prospects.

Prime Minister Modi further said that it is predicted to generate 60 lakh new employment possibilities through the PLI scheme alone. All of these programmes, including Make in India and Vocal for Local, are creating opportunities and self-employment prospects in the nation. This shows that there are more and more opportunities for both government and non-government jobs.

The Prime Minister, address the new recruits said that all of you who will take on this new duty have been designated to serve as the Central Government’s representatives in front of the rest of the country and asked the new hires to work on capacity-building to push the government’s efficiency.

He emphasized that to improve government efficiency, all of them should engage on capacity-building and stated that letters of appointment are distributed to around 71,000 youths in 45 cities right now. This will result in thousands of families filled with joy.

The new appointees will receive physical copies of their appointment letters at 45 locations across the country (except Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat), the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated. It added that posts for teachers, lecturers, nursing officers, nurses, doctors, radiographers, pharmacists and other technical and paramedical positions are now being filled in addition to the categories of positions already filled. A number of vacancies in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) are being filled by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

It may be mentioned that 75,000 appointment letters were given to new appointees under Rozgar Mela earlier in October.

The Rozgar Mela, according to Prime Minister Modi, is evidence that the national government is actively working to give job opportunity to the younger generation in the country.

According to Prime Minister Modi, states and union territories will continue to hold Rozgar Melas. Meanwhile in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Daman and Diu, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Chandigarh, PM Modi expressed happiness that the respective governments had given appointment letters to thousands of youths.

The PMO stated that it would include a code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics & integrity, human resource regulations, and other advantages and allowances that would assist them get accustomed to the rules and move into the new responsibilities without any difficulty.

According to the statement, they will also have the chance to explore other courses on the igotkarmayogi.gov.in platform to expand their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
