OnePlus has broadcasted the OnePlus 9 RT, which is the follower of the OnePlus 9R smartphone. The OnePlus 9RT smartphone was made known on October 13, 2021. The physical characteristics are the same as those of the OnePlus 9R, except for an augmented camera array.
According to OnePlus’ Weibo page, the 9RT sold for CNY100 million (about $15 million) in just five minutes, implying that between 26,000 and 32,000 units were sold, depending on the distribution of memory variants.
The OnePlus 9 RT gets hands on a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The OnePlus 9 RT embraces a 120Hz display panel, just like the OnePlus 9R. Under the hood, the device has an octa-core Snapdragon 870 processor. The smartphone comes up with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device comes pre-installed with Android 11 and the OxygenOS 12 user coherence.
A triple-camera array on the OnePlus 9 RT handles the optics department, encompassing a 50MP dominant camera. A 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP monochrome camera complement the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. It has a 16Mp selfie camera.
The device has a 4500mAh battery that powers the gadget, which empowers 65W fast charging. Dual-SIM compatibility, dual 4G VoLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector are amidst the device’s connectivity features. The OnePlus 9 series (the OnePlus nine and the OnePlus 9 Pro) are two popular OnePlus phones.
The OnePlus 9RT is available in three storage options in China. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,299 (about Rs 38,620), the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 40,460), and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs 40,460). (approx Rs 44,500).
The OnePlus 9RT is an excellent alternative to the OnePlus nine flagships. Consequently, such sales aren’t surprising. It boasts a 6.62-inch AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel triple camera, and a 4,500-mAh battery with quick charging. ColorOS is used in China, but OxygenOS is expected to be used globally.

The OnePlus 9 RT sports a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 402 PPI and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The power button and alert slider are associated on the phone’s right side, whereas the volume rockers are positioned on the left. The tablet is fitted with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
The device has a face unlock feature. The phone is up for grabs in three colors: black, silver, and blue. If you’re not in China, OnePlus hasn’t said when or if the 9RT will be available elsewhere. Like the other 9-series phones in China, this version runs ColorOS 11 (Android 11).
