New Apple Watches Registered on Eurasian Database
Apple has registered a few new Apple watch model identifiers in the database of the Eurasian economy, as revealed by Consomac. Apple is also expected to reveal the new watches at its event which is going to be held in September.
The ‘Series 4’ is listed across a total of six model identifiers and is also noted as shipping with watchOS 5. This filings also suggest a reduction in the lineup as compared to what Apple offers with its Watch Series 3.
The model number for the new Apple Watch units are likely to be A1977, A1978, A1975, A1976, A2007, and A2008.
In the previous year, the Eurasian regulatory filings have tipped the hat on the iPhone 7, AirPods, and Apple Watch Series 2. It also tipped the hat on the 2018 MacBook Pro Fresh in July.
Apple Watch is going to be a major update by the end of this year. A report stated that the Apple Watch would get its major redesign with features like large screens and less bezel on both the models.
The dimensions are expected to remain as 38mm and 42mm without making the physical watches bigger.
