In such a major development, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has petitioned the Supreme Court (SC) for an urgent hearing against a Bombay High Court order ordering the NTA to just not announce only the NEET 2021 admission exam inevitably results as well as to undertake re-examinations for two candidates with whom the question papers and OMR sheets became mixed. The event occurred at a Maharashtra centre during the NEET 2021 admission test.
On October 20, the Bombay High Court asked the NTA to conduct new examinations for the two candidates and announce their results alongside those of the NEET 2021 entrance exam, which was administered throughout India on September 12.
It is worth noting that the NTA was established in 2018 by the Centre to organize the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical courses admissions.
The National Testing Agency has already provided the preliminary NEET answer key, as well as the final key would be made available upon that NEET website on result day.
The central government filed an appeal with the Supreme Court of India on Tuesday against with a Bombay High Court judgement ordering a re-examination. It said that even if the NEET results are available, they cannot be released because the High Court has asked two candidates to retake the test. Additionally, the centre has sought an expedited hearing on the plea.
The petitioners informed the Bombay High Court that invigilators distributed answer sheets and question papers using varying serial numbers.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) said that allowing petitioners to return for the test was “impossible.” However, the justices determined that petitioners “should not suffer as a result of respondents’ error.”
The court ordered the two students’ re-examinations and directed that their results be disclosed within two weeks.
Advocate Rui Rodrigues, who spoke on behalf of the NTA, said that allowing petitioners to repeat for the exam was “impossible.” The judges said in it that the petitioners would not suffer as a result of the respondents’ error. A Bombay High Court panel has asked the National Testing Agency to hold a “new test for the two petitioners for the academic year 2021-22.” Additionally, the bench said that the findings should be available within two weeks.
Candidates will be asked to input their roll number and date of birth in order to learn how to obtain NEET result 2021 pdf. Personal details, particular aspect NEET percentile, overall scores, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, 15percent ) of the respondents All India Quota (AIQ) rank, as well as other details of the applicants will be included in neet.nta.nic.in results 2021 pdf.
Additionally, the NTA will include the qualifying NEET cutoff scores for General/SC/ST/OBC students on the NEET scorecard. NTA will also release the final NEET answer key 2021 along with the NEET 2021 result pdf.
Candidates who qualify for the undergraduate medical entrance examination will be eligible to attend the NEET 2021 counselling session. In the previous session, 7,71,500 applicants qualified for NEET, whereas 13,66,945 candidates appeared.
Following the announcement of the NEET result in 2021, states will begin accepting applications for 85 percent of MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other seats. While the timing and qualifying requirements for all students will be the same throughout the country, the counselling procedure will vary by state.
