Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain launched in India at ₹ 75 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz already has a widely spread portfolio but it doesn’t stop them from bringing in new varieties in the country. Entering an all-new segment, the German luxury car maker has launched the E-Class All-Terrain in India today with the price tag of ₹ 75 Lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first Estate car from Mercedes in the Indian market.
The E-Class 220d All-Terrain packs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 194 hp of power and 400Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission that transfers the power to all four wheels via 4MATIC system. The E-Class All-Terrain will be BS VI compliant and can also run on BS IV fuel.

As the Estate is made to deal with ‘All terrains’, it has been equipped with a special model-specific feature, All-Terrain transmission mode, that is inspired from the Mercedes-Benz GLE range which offers off-road drive settings. To further increase ride comfort on rough surfaces, it comes with comfortable AIRBODY Control suspension configuration and large wheels with higher sidewalls.
Being a part of the E-Class family, the All-Terrain also gets the same luxurious cabin at the front with the Comand infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control. Because of the stretched rear end, it has a massive 640 liters of boot space which can be expanded to 1,820 liters by folding the rear seats.
