Mumbai (Home Ground), Delhi, Pune Bengaluru & Goa. Target areas are Nightlife and Entertainment.
4.What problems does your venture solve? What are your products or services.
In today’s fast paced and exhilaratingly busy times, we all want to be in the midst of the best social scenes in the city. However, the reality is that we’ve got a lot to accomplish every day, leaving us with very little time to stay on top of the hundreds and thousands of things going on around us. To help everyone out we decided to create a social buddy of sorts, a centralised app which will allow you to find clubs, bars, restaurants, Late Night Eateries, Sheesha Parlours and much more with just a click of a button. You can utilise it to devise the best possible night outs using Real Time & Location based suggestions we provide. WhereToday? is your easy and most efficient way to becoming completely up-to-date with everything happening in the city and coming to the rescue when anyone asks – “Whats the Plan?” or the way we like to call it “Where Today?”.

5.Share the idea or story behind the venture. How did it come to an existence?
Being bored of going to the usual places we were thinking and deciding and didn’t know what to do. We tried to look for something on similar platforms but didn’t really find anything with specific information. So hence we decided to come up with an app and help solve peoples problem.
6.How did you identify your co-founder?
Yogini, is someone who has always been in the nightlife circle as she herself loves to socialise and party. She’s also been from the talent and events industry managing some fun music events while managing various Bollywood Artists. What better than having somebody whose always informed about whats happening in the city and specially when they love to party.
7.What expansion plans are you looking for the next 2 years, next 5 years?
For the next 2 years we plan to upgrade the app with a lot more features which would make partying much more fun and looking for such events much more cooler. We look forward to expand to various other cities.
In the next 5 years, we look forward to get ourselves in other countries that Indians travel to frequently i.e. Dubai, Singapore,Hong Kong, London, Thailand, etc.
8.Where do you want to see yourself in next 5 years?
As one of the leading promotional platforms in the Nightlife & Entertainment industry, with a high ratio of followers.
9.Have you raised any funding? Or have any plans for the funding?
We are self funded at the moment and are planning to raise funds.
10.What were the problems you faced during the starting days and how did you resolve them?
We had a lot of issues in collecting the data from the venues, getting in touch with their marketing teams, etc. We resolved it by increasing the size of our team and continuos follow ups helped us with this issue.
11.Whats your favorite food & holiday destination?
Krish – I don’t really travel much so this is a tough one.
Yogini – My favourite holiday destination is St.Barts, Carribean Island where as my favourite food place wouldn’t be any one in specific but I love eating out in Central London as they have some great places.
12.What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?
An Entrepreneur decides his future, profit, time, happiness, duties, decisions, brain storming and a whole lot of others. While on the other hand, an Employee allows his boss to decide his income, time, schedule and sometimes even happiness.
13.How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?
Krish – I don’t think it has affected me in anyway.
Yogini – I don’t really think it has affected much of my family or social life as I try and keep a balance between both but yes because of the responsibilities at work it does tend to make it difficult at times.
14.Anything, you would like to say to our readers or upcoming entrepreneurs?
If your a startup, do it to solve an issue and do it for the people.
15.What is your USP which makes it unique & different from other start-ups in similar domains.
We are a Real Time & Location based Nightlife and Entertainment App, we provide over 25,000+ events in each city and a search filter which efficiently helps people search as per their taste and preferences.
