In comparison to the seasonal employment Meesho produced last year, this is a 50% increase.

Through its collaborations with third-party logistics companies like Ecom Express, DTDC, Elastic Run, Loadshare, Delhivery, Shadowfax, and Xpressbees, among others, Meesho hopes to create over 2 lakh job opportunities.

The tier 3 and tier 4 areas will host more than 60% of these chances. First-mile and delivery personnel who are in charge of picking, sorting, loading, unloading, and return inspections will predominantly fill these responsibilities.

In addition, it is anticipated that Meesho vendors would recruit nearly 3 lakh seasonal labour to meet their needs throughout the holiday season. These seasonal labourers will do a variety of manufacturing, packing, and sorting tasks for Meesho’s vendors.

Additionally, more than 80% of Meesho’s vendors want to launch new items and branch out into other areas including fashion accessories and holiday decor. Over 30% of Meesho’s merchants spend money hiring extra storage space for their stock.
