Land Rover Teases The Next-Gen Evoque With Wire-frame Sculpture
After being in the market for eight long years, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is finally getting a generation update and the company has started building a hype for its baby SUV. The British brand has created full-scale wire-frame sculptures and showcased them at some of the iconic places of London.
Though there is no official information revealed about the new Evoque, it is believed that the new generation SUV will be based on the same platform as the Discovery Sport. Some major design upgrades have also been seen in the spy shots taken while the SUV was being tested.
Powering the new Evoque will be JLR’s latest four-cylinder petrol and diesel Ingenium engines. A hybrid powertrain with a three-cylinder 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor is also speculated to join the lineup.
The Range Rover Evoque has been a big success for the company ever since its first launch. It in a way started a segment of the luxury compact SUV which is now filled with a lot of competitors from almost all the luxury car manufacturer.
Land Rover will officially unveil the next-gen Evoque on 22nd November in London. The launch event will also be live streamed on YouTube and Facebook for all the fans around the world. Considering the LA Motor Show starting just after this, the new Evoque will most likely make its public debut there.
