To support its path towards digital transformation, Infosys on Tuesday inked a strategic multi-year cooperation agreement with Nordic-based STARK company, Europe’s largest retailer and distributor of building products.

According to a filing with the BSE, Infosys and STARK Group will build a cutting-edge data centre in Denmark that will serve as the building block for driving technological breakthroughs and delivering seamless services to STARK Group locations around Europe.

By using the recently released “Infosys Topaz” and a “AI-first” strategy, Infosys will help the STARK Group grow across different geographies and increase operational efficiency. Topaz is a collection of platforms, services, and solutions that put artificial intelligence (AI) first.

In addition, Infosys will make use of its Live Enterprise Application Management Platform (LEAP), a cloud-enabled platform, to offer NextGen Application Management Services as part of Infosys Cobalt and to help automate the STARK Group’s IT landscape with the aim of continuously enhancing and modernising their IT operations.
