NEET Cutoff 2020 vs Past Year Trends

Well, the percentile is more or less the same throughout for the General category, which is 50th percentile. But for OBC/SC/ST (including PH), and General-PH, it varies between the two – 40th and 45th percentile if you compare the 2017 cutoffs. But the cutoff marks are different and varying every year. The cutoff range in 2020 for General is 720-147, while in 2019 it was 701-134. Likewise, compare the marks of the past 5 years and you will see that the competition is increasing gradually. So plan your preparation accordingly.

NEET Counselling 2020

Candidates who have successfully qualified NEET-UG examination are called for further counseling. The result includes NEET percentile, total marks, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and some other details. The counseling is done through All India Quota Seats and State Quota Seats:

  • 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats
  • 85% of State Quota seats
  • Deemed and Central universities
  • ESIC and AFMS
  • Private institutes
