Venture Catalysts Makes an Angel Funding in CleanseCar with Investment of Rs 3.5 Cr

With this funding round, the start-up that aims to organise the daily car wash segment will be able to service 20,000 cars daily

With a consistent focus on bolstering businesses that actually address consumer needs, Venture Catalysts has now invested Rs 3.5 crore in CleanseCar through an angel funding round. The start-up aims to organise and streamline the daily car wash industry, alleviating the woes of the many car owners in apartments and gated communities. Prominent Investors from Venture Catalysts network including Omphalos Venture India LLP, Rishabh Mahimtura, Anil Patel, Vishal Brambhatt and others participated in the round. The USPs of CleanseCar are the affordability and reliability of its services which will make it a game-changer in the $3 billion market in India.
CleanseCar offers daily car wash to consumers at pocket-friendly rates and with the assurance of undisrupted services on a daily basis. It charges INR 499 for hatchbacks, INR 599 for sedans and INR 749 for SUVs per month. A mobile-app based service, CleanseCar also offers a waterless wash which makes the daily cleansing of one’s car an eco-friendly process. Manned by a team of trained professionals, the service procedures are highly standardized to deliver the same unmatched quality every time. It also offers a range of affordable service packages to suit every customer’s preferences and priorities.
The company has been founded by Kalyandhar, who has 14 years of experience in the Software industry having worked with top names such as TCS, Accenture and Thomson Reuters etc. and Pratibha Shalini who has 12 years of Accounting Software experience. She was formerly employed with Oracle.

CleanseCar is currently operational in Bangalore and Chennai with its mobile application-based services. Going further, it aims to roll out its services in other cities of South India. Apart from the daily car wash service, CleanseCar also offers other automotive care solutions such as interior vacuum cleaning, dashboard and console cleaning and shine, interior detailing and rim dressing.
