Mandatory to install Aarogya Setu App for all private and central employees, this app prevents the spread of corona infection

Also, the government has now made it mandatory for all public and private sector employees to use the contact tracking aarogya Setu app. Apart from this, this app has also been made mandatory for people living in Covid-19 Containment Zone.

Downloads have been done more than 50 million times
The government has asked the officials to ensure that all people install this app in these zones. Let us inform you that this app has been downloaded more than 50 million times on Google Play. The Home Ministry said in its directive, ‘Use of the Aarogya Setu App will be made mandatory for all employees in both the private and public sector. It will be the responsibility of the heads of the respective organizations to ensure 100 percent coverage of this app among their employees. ‘

Red zone private offices can work with 33 percent of employees
In the guidelines, the MHA has also stated that private offices in the Red Zone (excluding the Containment Zone) can work with 33 per cent of employees. The remaining employees will have to work from home. In addition, offices are allowed to open in Orange and Green zones with 100 percent employees. The remaining 33 percent of the employees can work with all senior officers in the government offices of the Red Zone.

Know about Aarogya Setu App
This government app helps people assess the risk of coronavirus infection. It can be downloaded on both Android and iPhone smartphones. This particular app will help in finding out about the corona positive people present nearby. This is done using your mobile’s Bluetooth, location and mobile number.


How to use Aarogya Setu App?
There is also a chatbot in the Aarogya Setu app, in which the user gives correct answers to questions related to the corona epidemic. Through this, not only will the user be able to identify the symptoms of corona inside but the app also detects whether the user has come in contact with a corona infected person unknowingly. Based on this, it advises the user to take the next step. If users are in ‘high risk’ area, the app advises them to get coronavirus test done, call the helpline and visit the nearest health center. For this the app has been linked to the corona victims database, although it will also gradually build the app’s own database. The app gives the user tips to protect against this pandemic, but also informs the government if found infected.


Will support 11 languages
The Corona tracker app Aarogya Setu is currently operating in 11 languages. It also includes Hindi and English. It works by accessing Bluetooth and location. To use it, first the user has to be registered in the app by mobile number. After this, the app will ask for some personal information from the user, which is optional. Talking about privacy, the government claims that all important information on the app will be stored in encrypted form and will not be shared with any third party vendor.
