ICAI organized Mega Blood Donation Camp on “CA Day”
A mega blood donation camp was organized The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Pune. The camp was organized as a part of 70th CA Foundation Day.
The CA foundation day is being organized across the country. In Pune too, the ICAI is observing the foundation day as ‘CA Day’ with various programs and events. On Saturday and Sunday (30th June and 1st July) as a part of the series Pune Branch of WIRC of ICAI Jointly with Pune Branch of WICASA of ICAI organized “Mega Blood Donatioan Camp” at 8 Various Locations in the city.
Bizsolindia Services Pvt. Ltd Baner, RPA & Associates LLP, Kharadi, KP Group, Banner-Pashan Link Road, SPCM, Mitra Mandal Chowk, Deccan CPE Study Circle, Bhandarkar Institute, Rathi Rathi & Co., Singhgad rd Road, ICAI Extension Counter at Phadke Sankul, ICAI Bhawan, Bibwewadi are the locations where this Blood Donation Camp was held. This “Mega Blood Donation Camp” got great success with more than 523 blood donars and more than 750 participants across Pune City by involving the entire CA fraternity, CA students, colleagues, families at large.
CA Anand R Jakhotiya, Chairman, Pune Branch of WIRC of ICAI informed that the camp was organized with the motive to let the youngsters to know the importance of blood donation. He also quoted that ICAI was formed in 1949 under Act of Parliament and today, we are entering into 70th Glorious year. We will keep marching with Excellence, Independence and Integrity. I congratulate all 285000 proud Chartered Accountants and eight lakh plus students of ICAI on this Auspicious Day. I am thankful to all the CA members and students who have supported in various social initiatives taken by PUNE Branch on this occasion. With the support of all we can take our glorious Institute higher and higher.
At the same time Pune Branch of WIRC of ICAI with ICAI Career Counselling Group in support with Savitribai Phule, Pune University’s Management Division-IQAC – PUMBA, MIT-WPU, SNDT College and Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS’s) Pune organised 5 Day Workshop on GST – Girls Students Empowerment through Skill Building, to make the girl students employable, started at 8 different colleges with registered participants count of 567 girls students inaugurated by Dr. Prafulla Pawar, Dean – Savitribai Phule, Pune University, PUMBA at Garware College.
