Performance management software Dockabl has raised a pre-Series A round of $1.26 million from a group of marquee investors, including Aditya Berlia (Apeejay Group of Companies), Ritesh Malik (Guerrilla Ventures), entrepreneur Sanjay Kapoor and others.The Software as a Service (SaaS) platform provides solutions in the employee performance management space to organisations, including Policybazaar, Tata Realty, SIDBI, Becton Dickinson, Innov8, 91Springboard and Bajaj Capital.
With the latest round of funding, the company aims at augmenting its product, technology and go-to-market strategies. The brand is also eyeing expansion across global markets including North America and South East Asia. Dockabl is also planning to launch a plug & play version of its product by 2020.
“We offer a progressive solution with a user-interface design that solves work management problems in organisations in a deep and efficient manner. Our focus on employee experience is what sets us apart,” Dockabl co-founders Samarth Masson and Sanjeev Grover said in a statement on Thursday.

It’s the era of gig workers, distributed teams, flexible working models and fishnet organisations with malleable structures,” investor Sanjay Kapoor of Plural Career said.”Dockabl is one of the best I have seen in the B2B SaaS space. Other notable investors who led this round include Rajat Gupta, Ganesh Mohan, Anita Belani, Dipak Roy, Aparna Ballakur and Dhanesh Shetty.
