AR & VR Startup HoloSuit On Boards Yuvraj Singh as Its Investor and Brand Ambassador
Holosuit is world’s first bi-directional, full body motion controller with haptic feedback
HoloSuit, an AR/VR based tech startup (dubbed as one of the top Tech Products globally) has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from YWC sports, who identified Holosuit at the Product Czars, an initiative of Catapooolt.com. Mr Singh has also come onboard as the Brand Ambassador for the sports wing at Holosuit. The versatile cricketer will represent the sports vertical of the brand which will encourage the budding sportspersons in all fields to learn through the machine teaching mechanism of Holosuit. In a short span, Holosuit has received orders from Bollywood actors, Italian Car Manufacturer, India’s Defense Manufacturer, Asia’s Electricity Distributor, Japanese Robotics Pioneer, Filmfare winning Music Director and others. The startup is now in process of raising its next round and already multiple prominent investors have shown serious interest.
Holosuit acts as a bridge between the virtual & real world. It is a full-immersion sensor and feedback packed tracksuit which allows you to point, touch and feel 3D objects creating a 4D immersive experience, which is being reported (by Forbes, NY) as game changing technology enabling whole new generation of mixed reality applications. It contains options for multiple embedded sensors and haptic feedback devices dispersed across both arms, legs, and all ten fingers combined with embedded buttons. It captures the user’s entire body’s movement data and uses haptic feedback to send information back to the user for scenarios including neuro-rehab, sports, healthcare, education, gaming, entertainment, skill development, automobile, factory training, disaster response, robot training, defense or industrial operation etc. It is compatible with Android, Windows, and iOS, HTC Vive, Oculus and similar AR/VR/MR platforms. It comes with a wireless SDK which provides developers with infinite possibilities of creating real and virtual applications.
“I believe what Holosuit has built is just amazing , it’s the next generation learning and training suit using XR which can be used in various fields including sports, health, entertainment, games, factory training and many more. I am thrilled to be part of this tech initiative which will leapfrog us to next level of learning, extremely proud to see this innovation coming out of India. The feature that I am looking forward in the sports vertical at Holosuit will provide sports lovers the ability to train in virtual reality using AI and at the same time use Holosuit in real world to track their progress, it will also simplify & help athletes to understand the techniques better of their respective sports,” says, Yuvraj Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Harsha Kikkeri, CEO, Holosuit, says that, “I am delighted and honoured to have Mr Singh on board with us and thankful to Catapooolt.com for facilitating the association. Recently at the 5th World Machine Learning and Deep Learning Congress in Dubai, we demonstrated how HoloSuit technology is transcending Machine Learning to herald the era of Machine TeachingTM, where virtual AI trainers can systematically coach the players towards sports excellence ! The best part about this collaboration is that through HoloSuit based sports training across cricket and other academies, we will be able to track a sportsperson’s progress objectively and identify and promote talent from an early stage – regardless of their geographical location and make sports training accessible to everyone by virtualizing the world and the players.”
Holosuit has already launched its two versions of suit few months back. When you enter the virtual world using the suit, It let you feel the virtual experience throughout the body with sensors and haptic feedback devices that send vibrations to different parts of your body when you touch or feel things in virtual world.
Last month it received investments from industry evangelists including Shabir Momin (MD-CTO at ZengaTV, One Digital Entertainment, One Axcess, Psiamgone, Catapooolt, Desiredwings & Cofounder at Rastey Cabs, Creator’s Gurukul, WyzeAI, SSN Solutions and 7Miles), Rohit Nanda (Senior Vice President at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) and Mohammed Sirajuddin (Director at Catapooolt and Co-founder at Creator’s Gurukul, Desiredwings.com). These investors come with vast experience of different industries and would also be advising HoloSuit in its global strategy and growth. Holosuit had also recently won the Elevate 2018 Startup award from Government of Karnataka which granted it up to Rs 50 lakhs.
