A Google shuttle bus struck and killed a woman in her 20s on Monday night in Mountain View, California.
The incident occurred around 6:45 PM on Monday evening, according to the police report, directly across from the company’s Googleplex headquarters.
Police officers began performing CPR on the woman upon their arrival, but attempts at saving her were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The Google bus driver did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to the police report.
The accident remains under investigation by Mountain View police. It also remains unclear if the woman was a Google employee.
