1.What is the Name of Your Venture? Any specific reason for this name?
Smart Skill Tech Private Limited
SMART SKILL: It is a combination for the Youth who have a potential of working smart we are focused to skill development rather than knowledge.
TECH: Because the Skill we provide is technologically available rather than travel miles to go to a Training Centre and sit on an uncomfortable chair for 6 Hours every day.
Now everything and everything better is available on the laptops. Hence, SMART SKILL TECH

2.Who is your target Audience/clients?
Our target market is all those who have recently graduated of a degree college and all pursuing a degree or a fresher looking to begin their career. Smart Skill Tech’s target is to increase the chances of placement of those students who have been continuously been rejected from the interviews. Along with this our target are those students as well who are looking to enhance their CV.

3.Where is your venture based (city, state, country) & What are your geographical target areas?
Smart Skill Tech head office situated in Faridabad, Haryana but we are not limited to geographic boundaries.
We provide skill development courses that are Government certified through our online portal. Now, the student has to no more travel so much, they can sit at their homes or a cyber café or their college library and practice our courses. They can study at 7 in the morning or 11 at night, for 1 hour each day or 10 hours straight, now it is their own choice and not a pre-set classroom model.

4.What problems does your venture resolve? What are your products or services?

Smart Skill Tech addresses the current Skill Gap. We minimize the gap that is required by a corporate vs theoretically knowledge acquired by a student. We provide skill development courses along with placement services, as students are clueless about their life after Graduation.
Smart Skill Tech also observed that there are 7.85 lacs engineers’ students who pass college every year, but only 40% of them get hired. Low rate of recruitment is because of failure of the students in their interview or not getting chance of placement. We provide jobs as per the Course Done ex: Data Entry Operator, Associate Analyst etc. while the student is just sitting at home. We also provide value of Government Certificate (NSDC & AOTS – HIDA, Govt. of Japan) on CV of the students that is currently empty/ does not hold much value

5.Share the idea or story behind the venture. How did it came to an existence? What motivated you to start your own venture?
Smart Skill Tech is youngest of the 7 C.Dass Group companies. C.Dass Group has firms which specialize in Manufacturing of Paints, Chemicals, Furniture, Garments and developing an IT Park.

C.Dass Group started its new venture at Wardha as a Wardha IT Park, wardha is the place where the companies didn’t operate because of unavailability of skill human resource. We study this challenge and come up with a conclusion to provide free of cost skill development training to the people. Afterword’s we start imparting the skill development training at wardha centre but after some time we realize that we can target the people only within the radius of 10 KM. With the aim of imparting the training to as many as people, we think for the online training. Than we start thinking for the same and found out some online education websites such as courera, edx, udemy, simply learn etc. They are good at what they do. They are good education providers very unfortunately none of them focus on the skills and where the Indians lacking at the moment is the skill oriented people not educated and knowledgeable people. That is when we started providing Skills. Then we realize within our own group people lacks so many skills, Youth lack in the practical knowledge, they are very good with the theory knowledge which they had learn from their collage or education centre but they don’t know how to practice in their life, they don’t have the problem solving skills which is very unfortunate. Then we realize what we can do for the youth of our Nation which is when we incorporated Smart Skill Tech.

6.Who are your biggest competitors and how do you differentiate yourself from them?
There are many online education websites such as courera, edx, udemy etc. They are good at what they do. They are good at distributing knowledge and information. But none of these websites provide skills. Our courses are designed on the basis of practicality. Our students will gain practical knowledge by doing various exercises. This results in being more equipped and prepared for once a fresher start to work.

Not just that. There is no portal currently that links skill development with placement. We are a portal that acts as a bridge between skilled job-seekers and job-givers.
