Capital One Savor cardholders can get a free Postmates Unlimited subscription – here’s how
- If you have the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card, you can get a monthly statement credit to cover a Postmates Unlimited membership through 2019.
- The Savor earns 4% cash back on dining and entertainment, 2% cash back at grocery stores, and 1% back on everything else.
- It also has a huge sign-up bonus of $500 after you spend $3,000 in the first three months.
When Capital One relaunched its Savor card this summer, it offered an excellent value proposition to cardholders – 4% cash back on dining and entertainment, 2% back at grocery stores, and 1% back on everything else – which made the Savor the most rewarding cash-back card available for the broad dining category.
Now, Capital One has added a new perk to the card: a monthly statement credit for the delivery service Postmates Unlimited, from now through December 2019. That’s worth up to $120 if you take advantage of it starting this month. Postmates is a crowdsourced service that offers delivery from thousands of restaurants and stores. With a Postmates Unlimited membership, you’ll get free delivery on orders over $15. With a regular membership, delivery fees range from $1.99-$9.99, depending on the merchant and the order.
Postmates Unlimited normally costs $9.99 each month. To take advantage of the Capital One offer, just use your card as the payment method on your Postmates account. The statement credit will be automatically applied each month, and you’ll earn the full 4% cash back on each order.
The Savor card has a $95 annual fee, but it’s waived the first year.
Between the cash-back earning rate and the Postmates Unlimited subscription, the Savor is an extremely competitive card. If you’d rather earn transferable rewards points on dining, you can consider the American Express Gold Card instead, although that card’s $250 annual fee isn’t waived the first year.
