Funding in Indian startups this week (26 Nov-01 Dec )
This week 19 Indian startups received funding, of which 15 received a total sum of about $241 million. Among them, Drivezy raised the highest investment of about $120 million followed by UrbanClap, which raised $50 million in its Series D round.
Meanwhile, funding for 4 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

UrbanClap: Marketplace based home service major UrbanClap has raised $50 million Series D round led by Steadview Capital and existing investor Vy Capital.
Drivezy: Car and Bike rental marketplace Drivezy has scooped up $20 million Series B round in equity financing and $100 million in assets financing round under which it plans to induct over 50,000 vehicles.
CloudSEK: SaaS-based security management startup CloudSEK has raised $1.9 million in its Pre-Series A round led by Exfinity Venture Partners and StartupXseed.
Hush: HR Tech startup Hush–founded by former Yahoo employees Ashutosh Dabral and Umesh Joshi, has raised $0.64 million in a fresh round of funding. Accel Partners and Shamik Sharma, Business Head at Curefit participated in the round.
Niramai: Healthtech startup Niramai has raised about $6-7 million in a fresh round from Pi Ventures, Axilor, Ankur Capital and Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal.
Freyr Energy: Rooftop solar startup Freyr Energy has raised $3.8 million in Series A round led by Netherland-based C4D Partners. The firm had earlier raised undisclosed seed capital Doen-Participaties, another Dutch-based investment company.
Verloop: SaaS-based automated customer support and engagement platform Verloop has raised $3 million in its Series A round of funding led by IDFC Parampara Fund.
GOQii: Vishal Gondal-led smart wearable device maker GOQii has raised around $30-35 million in a fresh funding round led by Japan’s Mitsui & Co.
Lendbox: Peer to peer lending and credit marketplace Lendbox has secured $0.8 million pre-Series A round from IvyCap Ventures. Following the investment IvyCap’s Vice President Akanksha Sharma will join the Delhi-based startup’s board.
Hospals: Medical tourism startup Hospals started by Yebhi co-founder Danish Ahmed has raised $1.5 million from Spiral Venture and Venture Catalysts.
Smallcase: Zerodha-backed unique thematic investment platform where investors invest in a portfolio based on the theme of the stocks–Smallcase has raised $7-8 million from Sequoia
Turtlemint: Insurance aggregator plus a financial advisory platform that offers clients data analytics based advice, Turtlemint has reportedly raised $6 million from Sequoia.
Career Anna: Gurugram-based online learning platform Career Anna has raised $0.57 million from a group of angel investors.
The Souled Store: Pop culture merchandise startup The Souled Store has raised $3 million in a funding round led by early-stage fund RP-SG Ventures.
Paymatrix: Hyderabad-based rent management platform Paymatrix has raised $0.1 million in its pre-Series A round of funding from SucSeed Venture Partners.
Undisclosed deals this week
Clinical Nutrition, camera technology startup DreamVu, fintech startup Trendlyne and career-tech platform Perspectico did not disclose their financial details on funding.
