Amritpal Singh, as per police officials is expected to be transferred to Delhi by helicopter, as Khalsa has also mentioned, “I understand that he will be flown in from the prison for taking oath.”

Amritpal Singh, who is the head of “Waris Punjab De” (Heirs of Punjab), has self-styled himself with a particular outfit after the slain Khalistani militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was the leading figure of the Khalistan movement, though he never personally advocated for a separate Sikh Nation.

Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh takes over late actor Deep Sidhu's organization

Deep Sidhu formed the organization “Waris Punjab De,” who was an actor and an activist, who died in a car accident. Amritpal Singh was declared as the chief of the organization in 2022 on 4 March. Although there has been a controversy about when Deep Sidhu was alive, he made Harnek Singh Uppal the head.

Amritpal Singh is a known major sympathizer, and supporter as well so to speak of the Khalistan movement. And our current government has always said that all Sikhs are Indians, they are a part of India like they always have been, and Sikh problems are the country’s problem.

Amritpal Singh has led the Lok Sabha election as an independent and won from Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha seat by defeating the Congress candidate Kulbir Singh Zira by almost 2 lakh votes.

Since just in a few hours, he is going to take the oath to become officially a Member of Parliament (MP), and still a major Khalistani separatist or supporter, what does our government have to say about it, and where does the Modi Government stand in this situation?
