“On the call of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, a heartfelt invitation is extended to more than 10 crore families across the nation and abroad, beckoning them to participate in the momentous consecration program of Ram Lala. The significance of this event is compared to Diwali, the festival that traditionally marks the joyous return of Bhagwan Shri Ram to Ayodhya after 14 years.

However, the forthcoming celebration on January 22, 2024, holds an even more profound significance as it symbolizes the second Diwali, signifying the return of Ram ji to his birthplace after an awe-inspiring span of 500 years. This auspicious occasion is timed with the ‘Amrit kaal’ of Bharat’s independence, adding a layer of historical and spiritual resonance to the event.

Recognizing the logistical challenge of accommodating all devotees in Ayodhya on January 22, Alok Kumar emphasizes an inclusive approach. He encourages Hindus globally to embrace their local temples, treating them as symbolic extensions of Ayodhya. The call is for communities to come together, performing puja, worship, and traditional rituals in accordance with local customs.

Alok Kumar suggests the chanting of the ‘Vijay maha mantra’ – “Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram,” a sacred invocation bestowed by revered saints. Devotees are urged to partake in the celebration by watching the live telecast of the grand divine program unfolding in Ayodhya. The idea is for communities to unite in prayer and Aarti, sharing prasad, and collectively witnessing this historic event, fostering a sense of shared joy and spiritual connection across the global Hindu community.”

In a press conference held in Delhi, the Working President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) announced that the sacred ‘Akshat’ (yellow rice) Kalash, sanctified at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on November 5, 2023, has been dispatched to 45 provinces established in alignment with the organization’s structural vision.

Responding to the call of the Teerth Kshetra Trust, members of the VHP, in collaboration with various Hindu organizations, are set to embark on a nationwide initiative. Between January 1-15, 2024, they will visit Hindu families in both urban and rural areas across the country. Simultaneously, a parallel program is organized for Hindus residing abroad. As part of this outreach effort, each family will receive an invitation along with a picture of Bhagwan Ram and His temple, along with essential information to be preserved for worship.

The VHP anticipates widespread participation, estimating that this significant event will unfold in over 5 lakh temples globally, with millions of Hindus actively engaging in the celebration. The initiative aims to foster a sense of unity and participation among Hindu communities worldwide, emphasizing the global significance of the upcoming event at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

Alok Kumar emphasizes a significant shift in approach, stating, “This time we are not going to society to seek anything.” He underlines that the campaign to liberate Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, ongoing since 1984, has seen the active participation of lakhs of Hindus. Many warriors who played a crucial role in this campaign, some of whom sacrificed their lives, are no longer present among us. Their families harbor the aspiration to witness the fulfillment of the shared dream.

In response to this sentiment, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has strategically divided the country into 45 provinces. Alok Kumar details that each province is encouraged to organize visits to Ayodhya on designated days falling between January 27 and February 22. The purpose of these visits is to pay homage to the historical struggle for the liberation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

In order to accommodate the influx of visitors, arrangements have been meticulously made to facilitate the darshan (sight) of approximately 1 lakh people. This initiative not only serves as a pilgrimage but also stands as a collective acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by those who dedicated their lives to the cause, emphasizing the shared commitment to the fulfillment of this longstanding dream.
