According to The Taskmo Gig Index (TGI) released by Taskmo, an on-demand staffing platform, there has been a significant 55% increase in the participation of gig workers in the workforce compared to the previous year. This rise in gig workers is attributed to the growing job opportunities that have expanded from 40 million to approximately 200 million gig jobs within just one year.
