Why this Samsung smart monitor transforms life for real?
For Black Friday, I purchased a Samsung Smart Monitor M7, which significantly boosted my productivity. Although I don’t typically enjoy shopping on Black Friday, I truly needed a new monitor this year.
My ageing, 27-inch 4K Dell display from 2015 felt too small and obsolete to function correctly. As I just needed the HDMI port for my Xbox, I was also using a MiniDisplay Port to HDMI adaptor to connect my Mac Mini and PC to the monitor. To make matters worse, I even had clumsy speakers on my desk connected to the Dell monitor’s 3.5 mm headphone port.
But with so many new 4K resolution displays available today designed for gaming, productivity, or content creation, I needed help to choose one that suited my demands. After that, I discovered the Samsung Smart Monitor M7.
It was just what I had always wanted, and it was on sale for $329 around Black Friday. I now had a central location for both work and recreation.
Great for all my PCs with USB-C with integrated speakers
The USB-C connectivity and the built-in speakers were the main factors in my decision to buy the Samsung Smart Monitor M7. I don’t have to worry about dongles because I can connect any of my laptops with only a single wire and start working immediately.
My gadgets are powered and connected to this monitor via USB-C, so I didn’t even need to use the Surface Connect charger with my Surface Pro 9.
I now have up to four Microsoft Edge windows stacked next to each other when I work, and I can get so much more done because of its sizeable 32-inch size and pixel-packed 4K quality. And I get good sound from the built-in speakers.
The two spare HDMI ports for my Xbox and Mac Mini
The extra HDMI ports on the Samsung Smart Monitor M7 are fantastic. Since I use USB-C to connect to my PC, I plugged my Xbox Series X into one of the monitor’s two HDMI ports since I have it at my desk.
Even though this monitor only supports HDMI 2.0 at a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz and lacks HDMI 2.1, my Xbox games still look fantastic because of the 4K resolution and HDR10 support.
Everything I play on my Xbox seems vibrant since the display is also brilliant. I always had different feelings regarding my previous Dell monitor.
I leave my Mac mini plugged into the HDMI connector because I have the space now. Technically speaking, my monitor now has dedicated connections for the three devices I use at my desk. I don’t have to juggle cables anymore.
Lots of entertainment with Tizen OS, plus a remote
The Samsung Monitor M7 functions as an entertainment hub, which is something that the majority of other monitors do not. Since other monitors need you to use buttons on the side or back of the screens, which can be cumbersome.
I use the monitor’s excellent remote to switch between the various inputs. I utilise integrated applications like Amazon Prime Video, and I can do it right now without even turning on my PC.
The Samsung Smart Monitor M7 has many intelligent features. Therefore, I also want to discuss the remote. I use AirPlay, for instance, to transmit content from my iPad to the monitor. Seeing a desktop-sized monitor with all of these functions is cool. It more strongly resembles a TV.

Excellent for all my PCs with USB-C with built-in audio system
The Samsung Sensible Monitor M7 was my first choice because of its built-in audio system and USB-C compatibility. I can connect any of my laptops with a single wire and start working immediately without bothering about dongles.
I didn’t even need to consider using the Floor Join charger with my Floor Professional 9 because this monitor’s USB-C connector offers power and data to my devices.
I now have up to 4 different Microsoft Edge windows stacked next to one another when I work, and I can get a lot more work done because of its sizeable 32-inch size and pixel-packed 4K resolution. And I get excellent sound from the built-in audio system.
My Black Friday purchase was the Samsung Sensible Monitor M7; if it improved my way of life, others would feel the same way.
Although the discount is only $70, it is the perfect monitor, and for me, the $330 display made a significant difference. If this screen does not grab your attention—as it did mine—there are other screens on sale this Black Friday.
