Asus has launched The Vivobook k15 OLED with OLED display at the most affordable pricing. The pricing with the quality of the laptop is an unbelievable buy for all. The new VivoBook K15 OLED caters to customers of all ages, with a starting price of Rs 46,990.
The most important thing that keeps on pinging in our mind while purchasing a laptop is related to its display, audio, performance, battery life, design, keyboard, and trackpad. But keeping all this parenthesis, the main attraction of the laptop is the display; the better the display-the better the chances of purchase.

Asus Vivobook 15 OLED: Design and Build
Although the VivoBook K15 OLED is made of plastic, the laptop’s metallic body is attractive. The color design on the review device was “Transparent Silver,” with a silver logo on the lid and chrome trim on the sides. Although the notebook does not permit as an ultrabook, its 1.8kg weight makes it movable. This laptop was designed for average users and tutors, as it is not the lightest or thinnest on the market.
The connectivity ports are plentiful, with a microSD card slot, a full-size HDMI output, a USB Type-C connector, a headphone jack, and a USB 3.0 Type-A port on the left side. Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports are located on the right side. There is no Thunderbolt 4 support, which is understandable given the price. The laptop also has a 720p webcam in the top bezel, which is adequate for video conferencing and attending online classes, and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity.
Asus Vivobook 15 OLED: Display and Audio
The Asus VivoBook K15 OLED comes with a good display. The VivoBook K15 OLED isn’t the lightest laptop on the market, weighing 1.8 kg, but the large 15.6-inch screen makes up for it. The laptop is comfortable to carry. It is made of aluminum alloy and plastic, and it feels durable enough to use daily. Indie Black, Silver, and Hearty Gold are the three colors available.
There is no change in the new model as it too has a color-blocked Enter key that stands out and looks unusual. The full-size keyboard is fantastic and makes typing a pleasure. The VivoBook K15 OLED also has a lot of networking possibilities, which makes it a superb bundle. It has USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a microSD card reader. When it comes to music, there are two downward-firing Harman Kardon speakers. Although the speakers are loud, don’t expect bass at this price. As you increased the level, there was no crackling sound.
The speakers are adequate for watching YouTube videos, taking online lessons, or listening to music casually. You’ll need headphones or a pair of Bluetooth speakers for anything strenuous, such as watching a movie or playing video games.
Another specialty is how brilliant the VivoBook K15 OLED display can get, especially while outside the laptop. Even in full sunshine, the display is vivid and clear, if a little too shiny. Sitting at an outside cafe with this laptop means you won’t have to adjust the display to see what you’re typing continuously, and the excellent viewing angles mean you won’t have any trouble watching a movie with a friend or two nearby.
If you’ve been using a laptop without a numeric keypad, you’ll notice that Asus has included a complete chiclet keyboard layout with an excellent 1.4mm travel that takes some getting used to. A colorful border surrounds the Enter key, but it appears to be primarily decorative, and Asus could have done without it for aesthetic reasons. Although the touchpad isn’t the largest we’ve seen at this price point, it does the job. The VivoBook K15 OLED also has a small fingerprint scanner; the power button would have been a better location, although it is unstable.
Asus Vivobook 15 OLED: Performance and Battery Life
The performance isn’t horrible either. However, it would help if you tempered your expectations. The Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor with Iris Xe Graphics, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD is included with the VivoBook K15 OLED (at least in the review unit). The notebook provides good performance, but it all depends on what you want to do with it.
This computer is not built for heavy lifting, so if you’re a graphic designer or video editor, you’ll want to seek something else. Working with papers, ride herd on editing the light picture, and handling everyday duties are all possible with the 11th generation Core i3 processor and 8GB RAM. However, the battery had been better. In a laptop with an OLED display with an FHD resolution and an entry-level Core i3 processor, Asus has included a 42 watt-hour battery. The notebook lasted four hours in the tests, which is neither good nor offensive.
Asus Vivobook 15 OLED: Keyboard and Trackpad
The issue with inexpensive laptops is the tiny keyboard layout. Thankfully, the VivoBook K15 OLED’s keyboard is slightly better than that of a regular cheap notebook. The keys are spacious and well-spaced, and they are illuminated. The keys have lots of travel, even though they don’t seem crisp and bouncy.
The Enter key is lined and lettered in lime-green for a change, which lends a splash of color to the laptop’s overall design. The touchpad, which is a little small for the tastes, smooth and responsive, is not attractive. A fingerprint reader is positioned in the upper right corner for secure sign-in.
Conclusion
For its entry-level pricing of Rs 46,990, the VivoBook K15 OLED is a quick notebook. I’m not claiming that it’s a flawless laptop; there are a few drawbacks, such as a small battery and a 256GB solid-state drive. For students or anyone looking to replace their outdated laptops, the VivoBook K15 OLED is a good option. The good news is that this notebook is compatible with Windows 11, albeit update times may vary.
